Life in SG - Sentosa/Vivocity 08

Its a Saturday morning, planned for an afternoon trip to Sentosa with a few friends. First, we went for the Underwater World oceanarium on Sentosa, which is home to more than 2,500 fishes from 250 different species. Start your tour with the Touch Pool for some 'hands on' experience with starfish, stingrays and if you dare, baby sharks. Then venture into the ocean depths via a moving travellator that ferries you through an 83-metre-long acrylic tunnel.

Included in the Underwater World ticket price is a visit to the Dolphin Lagoon. I got to observe the highly intelligent Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins through a series of interactive, feeding and training sessions specially designed to demonstrate their natural ability of tail-walking synchronization.

This my first time visiting the dophin lagoon. Have a close up look with the 'PINK' dolpin.

Rare scene, peacock on the roof. Found it above the underwater world roof, maybe it was trying to be a kingfisher.

Show time, Kat trying her balancing skill.

Look, this couple enjoying themself again! @Palawan Beach
Palawan Beach, where a suspension bridge links beach-goers to the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, or Asia's closest point to the Equator.
Its turning dark, so we headed back to Vivocity for dinner.

Oh, this Christmas 'hat' is too big for one, three will be just nice :P

Another closer look, hahaha
[]

FYI, same night there was a ZoukOut party in sentosa draws record crowd of over 26,000. Partygoers came from all over the world and danced from dusk till dawn. Got to give it a miss, as I have an event shoot out next day:(

Theme - The Greatest Escape

Vax Production presents
The Greatest Escape

This story is about a brave hamster, Newbie aka noobs who was captured by a witch and guarded by many giant monsters. Newbie felt so scared and lonely but in its mind was planning an escape.

"I look cute isn't it? Do I look like a criminal? Freedom is what I need. Today, I will celebrate my independence"

So newbie started to search for its way out of the massive maze. This gonna be a dangerous mission as it will face the giant monster guard and the witch alone.

Bright light is shining in from the other side of the tunnel, Newbie thought he found an exit. It quicky climbed its way ou't the tunnel and found itself surrounded by the giant monster. Without a second thought he quicky jumped back down. Newbie got to find another way out.

Newbie found another exit in just a few minutes, it was so happy to see sunlight again.
"Ah I love the sun and the fresh air" "Here come my freedom".

Oh no, just before newbie was getting too excited, it got itself in big trouble again. The witch found out its escape plan... 'Where do you think you are going, LITTLE one?'

Newbie was so scared and he fell back to the dark cold tunnel again and started searching for other way out. Newbie was confused and it ran in all direction without knowing where it wanted to go. Newbie was lost in direction and hope, it started to give up.

Suddenly it stopped walking. Newbie was so surprised to find food in the dark cold tunnel. With disbelief, it stared in the air for 1 hour (hahaha maybe that's too long).

This surprised Newbie, and made it start to re-think its aim for the day.
"Oh man what have I been doing, I am here to seek my freedom!".

Without hesitation, the brave hamster started to search for its way out again. It felt so much confidence, like it has faced the worst situation and nothing can stop it from escaping now.

After trying 999 exits out of 1000, Newbie finally found the right exit without any giant monster or witch guarding it. It looked around carefully to ensure the area was cleared. Newbie knew that it needed to be careful and not make any mistake.

"No one sees me, no one sees me, no one sees me"

It slowly moved away from the maze and smelled its way to paradise, the place where it belonged.

Finally, with the hard journey behind, it found its new home and freedom.

The End

Thanks for watching/reading the story, I would like to share this story with all my friends and people who has viewed this blog. 'Never give up, keep going and you will achieve what you want some day'.

Witch: Rebecca
Giant monster: Kenn

Life in SG - SCB Marathon 08

Well today, I survived another year of 10km run, hahaha should say walked 80% of the whole journey and got myself a shiny silver medal to my collection.

Lets wait for the result and see how long I took to complete the 10km kekeke.

Today is also a good day to do street photography, tried to do alot of panning and got 90% of my photos fail :( Which means alot more practice needed.

Thats the best way to keep 'COOL' when you run under hot sun.

'Keep running, I will always be with you'

Father and daughter team

Friends

'Lets charge to the end point, we can do it'

"Arh, I run out of gassss..."

Am so tried, lucky I had trained myself alot especially in my HK/China trip, in which I walked alot :P

LIfe in SG - Morning Cycle

It was last Saturday morning, I joined my friend for an early morning cycle from east coast to changi beach. This was my 1st 'crazy' time cycling in such a early morning, we started at around 5.55am.

Since it was an exercise plan so I didnt bring along my bulky camera. I bought my Lumix-FX10 instead.

Here are some of the shot taken along east coast beach:

Simply love this, everything seems so calm.

Here is halfway through to changi beach

Lastly, we reached changi beach around 7.30am.

Hahaha. then we did a U-turn, another long way back to East Coast. I will definately do more morning cycling in the near future.
