Heishirō Mitsurugi (御剣 平四郎, Mitsurugi Heishirō) is the son of a farmer, who after suffering years of witnessing his homeland being ravaged by bandits and war decided to take up swordsmanship, becoming a samurai and eventually hired mercenary.
