Sand Volley Ball tournament

Its a sunny Sunday, 6.30am I set off to another volleyball shooting opportunities at Bishan. Its abit of challenge to shoot sport event using f3.5-f5.6 lens which I think I have done badly. However it was a very good experience.

Sis lose the 1st match :(

As the match proceed, the games look more and more excited, all the scoreline are close. Those with better skill and luck will seal the game with victory.

Even a kid want to catch some of the exciting actions :)

Singapore Fireworks Celebration 08

23 Aug 08, a special day for someone I love and I got free tickets to 08 Fireworks Celebration at Marina Bay. As I got these tickets very last minutes, cant get any friends to accompany me down there to enjoy the 30mins scene.

It was raining whole day, and I can clearly see the raindrop under the sportlight. At around 8.30pm the rain stopped. Everyone is waiting and hoping that no more rain...

Be prepare! The firework gonna go live anytime.

Light up the sky, light it!

Hmm, some how I see a Heart shape, maybe you can tell me what it look like :P

This is directly front view, which is so close up. But the exposure look abit strange

This view I manage to catch in some spotlight from the stage, as my seat is right at the centre.
Well lastly, I enjoyed this moment and wish Happy Birthday to my mum back in Brunei. Cheers :)

Auntie Hwa UcanFLY Challenge

21 Aug 08, an unpredictable day, rain was dropping for an hour and a bright day was coming ahead of us, as we drove to the centre of city.

Around 3.45pm we reached our destination - The über DHL Balloon Flight. We were so excited and ready to fly high before we were told that the wind was strong up there and the ride was suspended at the moment until further notice.

Sad ya!, we waited until 5pm and the wind was still strong. So we decided to shoot the surrounding and look for alternative place to go.

Even with the dissapointment that we cant fly up there, auntie Hwa seems to enjoy every moment: look at the shot :D

So we move on to Kim Cheng street - Tiong Bahru, this is the place where she grew up.

All the childhood memories and happiness have shown on auntie Hwa sweet smile.

Happy 77th Birthday auntie Hwa :)

A hot Sunday afternoon at Siloso Beach Sentosa, where friends are gathering around having some funs and volleyball games.

Look at this loving couple... ...

Lets start to get wet

Siloso Beach is the home of beach volleyball enthusiasts. Bring it on!

Have try a few shot of this exposure, feel good and hopefully Kenn & Su Mei like it too.
Well next time I should try to shoot different angle and action :)
Looking forward to have another Blue sky, Beach and Sea day with you guys.

Group's Southern Ridges Adventure

3 Aug 08 - A 9km chain of green spaces spans across Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, Kent Ridge Park and ends at West Coast Park, each seamlessly linked by foot trails and connection bridges.

We start off with a short walk through the secondary forests of Marang Trail from behind Harbourfront MRT Station to Mount Faber Park, one of the oldest parks in Singapore. Embark on the meandering trail of Faber Walk and take in the panoramic views of Singapore and the coastal seas, dotted by ships and islands.

Enjoy shooting detail of every tiny micro things with my new bought camera

Experience the giddy heights of the Henderson Waves, an undulating bridge that sits high across Henderson Road and connects Mount Faber Park to Telok Blangah Hill Park. It is also Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge.

Look, Kenneth showing some stunning action and more...

From there, trek across Telok Blangah Hill Park through the Hilltop Walk. Brush past the thick canopy of trees and take a bird’s eye view of the forest as we continue along the raised walkways of the Forest Walk.

Wow, so you think he can fly? Some pre-Beijing olympics 2008 high jump action is going on here :P

Both myself and Kenn reached HortPark last as we took our own sweet time playing with our camera. Enjoy a delightful stroll down the Floral Walk lined with blooming flowers and pick up some gardening ideas at the Hort Park!

While the rest of the group had passed through Kent Ridge Park’s rich flora and fauna with an elevated walkway. Perched at a height of 16 metres at the centre, it’s the perfect spot to experience the tranquillity and beauty of nature as we catch glimpses of squirrels, sunbirds and white-crested thrushes among the groves of Tembusu and belukar trees.
